Inspections are performed in accordance with the American Society of Home Inspectors standards of practice. Any code violation is noted and discussed in the report. A detailed hand written report is given to the client on site, followed by a typewritten report, which includes the summary of findings and recommended corrective actions. State regulation prohibits a home inspector without a professional engineering license to perform structural inspection. Hansel Engineering is qualified to perform structural inspections, and this service is included as part of the home inspection at no additional charge.

A complimentary copy of a home maintenance manual is given to the client as a part of the home inspection service.

STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS
Consists of observation, field measurements, and calculations as necessary to ascertain the strength capacity of the member in question and the final report. The report is divided into three areas: discussion of the problem, analysis of the problem and the recommendations. For an additional fee, a cost-estimate for repair work can be provided to the client.
